ANNOTATION:
Can Will be properly defined? Or desire?

It seems to me that Will presents a dilemma in that the constructs involved are too nebulous for true analysis. I look forward to this area's completion, as I currently feel that memetics cannot properly address Will or desire, except as constructs of preference, which I think may understate its significance. I think that the word Will can be used to encompass the sum of an individual's desire, individuality, creativity, dominance, and accomplishments, among many other factors. Will can also be seen as that which is applied by an individual upon his or her external world to acheive chosen goals. Finally, there is the sticky question, do preferences define the Will, or does the Will define the preferences? This is the breakpoint of a dilemma for me.
