The Viable System Model (VSM) was developed by Stafford Beer and implemented in the CYBERRSYN project.
It consists of 3 different states that incubate the management and dynamics of the processes:
a: the environment of the organism.
b: the operations area.
c: the metasystem.
VSM is a model that structures the organisation of any viable system A viable system is any organised system that combines the survival demands in a changing environment.
One of the primary characteristics of surviving systems is that they are adaptable to environmental conditions. Cybernetic components of VSM.
A viable system has five subsystems that work reciprocally, and that can be identified through the diverse structural aspects of each organisation.
